Arabic Bible of Omar ibn Sayyid
On this page you will find a curated collection of scanned leaves from Omar ibn Sayyid's copy of an Arabic Bible featuring his unique marginalia. His handwritten notations may be difficult to discern from the printed text as the ink has faded. The handwritten leaf numbers visible in the top left corners of the images were added after the Bible was donated.
The Arabic Bible is read from right to left, thus the leaf numbers reflect that orientation. The "recto" side of the the leaf is the "front," while the "verso" side of the leaf is the "back."
